Drenched Soul
No one knows
Her eyes are heavy
Her heart has sunk
soul is drenched
She's drowned .
In a state of death
She just floats
the salt preserving
her shell.
In side her there is nothing.
In life she has every thing
yet the one thing she wants
is no longer tangible.
When oh when will
She meet him again?
She longs to see his loving
vulnerable eyes
that radiant smile
he always seemed to have
every time she watched him
while he was around.
Please.. she begs..
allow her distorted views,
projections to
become after life.
Her eyes are heavy
Her heart has sunk
soul is drenched
She's drowned .
In a state of death
She just floats
the salt preserving
her shell.
In side her there is nothing.
In life she has every thing
yet the one thing she wants
is no longer tangible.
When oh when will
She meet him again?
She longs to see his loving
vulnerable eyes
that radiant smile
he always seemed to have
every time she watched him
while he was around.
Please.. she begs..
allow her distorted views,
projections to
become after life.

Hello Grey. Thanks for reading. It means she wants her projection to become afterlife. She wants to be joined with the departed one she so craves to see. It's a metaphor, she wants to be dead.

I hope all is well. I never know if this is reality or fiction. Either way -- very powerful.

I am doing well; but have overcommitted myself to way too many tasks. Doesn't that sound like a common human plight. :)
