Hidden
My insides
are aching.
There are
so many
things I
want to
say but
can't.
Supressed
by this
noisy silence
I with
this mask
distort
a smile
just to
appease
the family
set up we
have going.
I wish
they weren't
a part
of me.
Many lumps
inside me
spreading
through my
veins a
sickness
all over
my tarnished
organs.
A lack
of ability
to breathe.
I have
become numb
operating
almost like
a decoy
to protect
by deceiving
the other
side which
resides
within me
bearing this
sharp blade.
Guarding
what is
in close
containment
of my bottle
full of emotion
and what
I hide.

I hope your blog and friends provide some outlet for you. Keeping things in a bottle for too long causes problems.

I have to just say again from a literary standpoint, that style befits so perfectly the emotions within the words. This is an amazing piece of writing.
(Can I call you by your initial?)
Consise10, there are so many phrases used here that just screech out your pain, just as I said below, its painful to read, to know there is someone who feels this way and there is nothing any of us can do to help, except listen. And offer virtual hugs.
I do so hope you find a way through.
Take care of you, xo

It's funny how writing something like this feels so good when it is done and captured on paper. I always found it very cathartic.

gosh, take the cork out of the bottle and let it flow...just let it out!
It will explode and the pieces of glass will hurt more than the fluids within!

I wonder - Do you find pain meaningful in some way? Do you in some way want to hold onto your pain? No answer needed, just wonderings.

I put on a mask for my family too. They really can't deal with knowing the truth.
